Here are some of the things I’ve done in the past that I’m proud of.

Heads Up (Hatfield Embraces Acceptance and Dismantles Stigma) was cofounded by melody and a small group of parents and educators after multiple families in the area suffered mental health traumas.

Our mission: to have Hatfield become a model community committed to educating, liberating, and protecting the mental health of all of our residents.

Although Mel is no longer on the board, the group continues on with its mission led by parents, community members, school and town representatives, clergy and police.

Mill DistricT Coffee

In 2014 Melody partnered with the owners of the Old Mill Inn in Hatfield, MA to create Mill District Coffee, a cafe serving coffee, breakfast and lunch to guests and the local community. As an avid community Builder, Melody’s goal was to create a welcoming space where community members could get to know each other and meet up with friends without having to go to neighboring Northampton. Although Melody left to pursue other projects, It has taken on a new life with new owners!

my window Cleaning world

For 20+ years I was a window cleaner and window cleaning business owner.

I proudly bought A-One Window Cleaning, Inc. in 2004 from my mentor, and sold it in 2012. I financed the sale, so when the buyers partnership failed, I started a placeholder company to keep customers happy until the legal issues were settled.

Renew Window Cleaning, Inc. was born, and although I had expected to quickly sell it again, I ended up keeping it until sold at the end of 2020.
